Brought in the New Year with a crappy bang, actually more of a crash, bang, crunch, shatter, ouch. Was out wheeling New Years day and stopped to visit a wet salt flat, same place we've gone to for a few years. Was spinning a doughnut and hit the only dry place in the area, ended up rolling my K30 and trashing every bit of sheetmetal on it. Luckily both me and my passenger had seatbelts on, she was ok and I just a have a bruised leg.
I'll have to pull the 86 K10 (actually 3/4 ton converted) out of the pasture. Guess I have some wrenching to do, swapping the D60 and 454.
Pisser is I just dropped $500 on rear springs and ubolt flip and they won't even work on my K10 /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Well that will teach you a lesson!

just kidding good luck with the next project though.

The rear springs won't work because of the length? You could move the rear hangers. Depends on how bad you want to keep the springs. I went to 56" 3/4 ton springs when I did my axle swap.

Dude Ouch!!! Send pics if you got em!!! My brother did the same thing to his 93 s10 4 months after he got it!!!

Lesson!?!?! What, pump the tires up to 80PSI?? LOL

Sorry, but glad everyone is ok. I rolled a Camaro way back - it's not fun.

Just switch your front hangers and remount the rears farther back. You can keep your setup.
