Roof Rack Mounting

Hey guys long time no post. I am about to buy a roof rack for my 1979 k5. whats the best way to mount it to my shell. i have no gutters or mounting stuff, just a bare fiberglass shell. thanks guys. if you have anyh pics it would be appreciated.

Here are some ideas. I know a lot of people have used well nuts, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the strength though. Or just bolt right through with silicone.
