Roof Top Cab Corner

Does anyone have a scrap truck aound that they would be willing to hack out a section of the passengers back top cab corner. I took my top off to find a big rust hole.

jekquistk5 has a clean shell that he'll be chopping up for a full vert sometime in the future. He may be able to help you out. Mine is rotted out in the same place, so I'm just chopping the roof off.

How much do you need/ want just the outside skin? Describe the cut and I may be able to help yah out.

from a guys years of rust belt work history ........... better prep it all down to the point of welding in the new panel . it will be bigger than you think / see now and you will find more .

my 2wd build cab looked super around windshield frame till it come back from media blaster . . . . had a few patch panels to make and weld in .

sh!t hides real well under paint before it shows its ugly head.

but from a guy who has done lots of body work on rusty stuff like this open it up / grind it down and then figure out how big a patch you will need .

Agreed take a roloc wheel to it and find out how far it goes.

I'd sawsall out a 2' "cube" of the donor if it's going to the crusher.

Otherwise, "I have too much to work with" said no-one ever.

And yes it's going to the crusher if I ever find an a pillar for a full vert
