Rook top LED lightbar wiring question...

Getting my LED lightbar any day now, Id like to avoid drilling anymore holes in my roof, lol. Looks like there is room to run a power wire down behind the windshield seal, towards the outside. Id seal the entry point at the top and the bottom.

Has anyone done this? Bad idea?

Thats how the wiring is run on all our work trucks for the roof top beacons and stuff. I'd have no hesistation at all
