Rotor hub separation?

I have a 70 Jimmy but putting a 72 front axle (Dana 44) on front so I have disc brakes. The question is does the hub separate from the rotor? Don’t want to start banging on it if they don’t.

If I remember you have to push out the wheel studs, as they go through the whole works...? Unless I'm thinking of the d60..

That is correct, press out the wheel studs and the rotor comes off the back. Hub removal is required.
