Rough country lift kit

Im reading what Divorced posted . My results are the same. I can flex my front springs just a hair past flat. Also consider most of the topic was on front lift and not so much what is going on out back IE lift springs, blocks or shackle flip. Personally i would never spring lift the back of a truck, id rather deal with axlewrap that comes with blocks than the harshness of 6in rear springs. And frame breakage comes in many forms for different reasons. Could the truck that broke the frame have other issues like rust or a nut behind teh wheel boony-crashing the damn thing?

Also a 79modblazerk5 belated Welcome is in order. So welcome:waytogo:

i see.. but what do you think about whats written in this old post that i just quoted?. The thing about Rough country= bent frame.
How do you "read" that? is it possible? is rough country 4"or 6" leaf springs so stiff that you will bend the frame offroading?

thanks

knut
Ok since i was asked directly no you cant bend the frame in "normal" offroading, but that being said you hit something hard enough and it will bend.Maybe with everyone varied results from flexy to breaking teeth, new springs are stiff, they lose their temper fairly fast then become real soft and flexy. Or maybe sometime they changed the steel they use to make them cheaper and went from good to not so good, and it depends on which one you have.
