Finally received the quarter panels I ordered back in August. Of course they screwed it up. They shipped the round hole quarter panel instead of the square hole panel for the newer vehicles. Can I use it by getting a cap and changing the piece that screws to the back of the quarter panel for the filler hose? Any chance the parts from a 78 PU will work? I'd like to know my options before calling to get it straightened out. On the positive side, they were packed extremely well, and appear to be in great shape.

No clue about using the truck pick filler door on a blazer. Is your blazer filler door that bad you can't reuse it? . I just came to ask where you got your quarter panels at.

The round hole quarters don't use a door. The cap is visible. The panels with a door have a large cutout behind the door to make room for the filler assembly.

I ordered the panels from Jeg's Aug 5 because the price was good and they had free shipping. They sent me an email saying the parts were on backorder but the packing list from the supplier, Auto Metal Direct, said they received the order on 12/18. At this point I guess it doesn't matter who was at fault for the delay, I just need to decide what to do about the one part being wrong.
