Just came across a truck on eBay. Although I'm more knowledgeable about Chevys than I am GMCs, I thought I had seen all of the trim levels for both makes. I thought that "Sierra Grande" was the highest GMC trim level for '75-'80 trucks. I'm guessing that this "Royal Sierra" is a step above that (?). Interesting.

Thats interesting Ive never heard of them either.

Hadn't heard of that one either.

But wow, it sure looks luxurious :haha:

My friend has one. His is a 78 and came with carpet but thats about all I could see. Maybe a fancier seat cover.

Are you sure it's that low on the totem pole? This thing looks like it was loaded. If you look at the interior pics it has power windows and locks and full climate control, not to mention the outside cove trim. I guess all those things could have been ordered by the original owner though...

Yeah it sure is luxurious! :D Probably was back in '79.

Yeah power options were only checked items, they were not part of a trim level.
We wer looking at a Silverado crew cab which is the highest trim level in chevy and it had manual windows and locks.
