Double checking on this one, does this mean it is a generator or is it GM in the transition mode of switching everything to alternator. I pulled out the power probe III and checked the battery at idle. Even though its a new battery it said 12.8v with the truck off and 14.1v at idle. My guess is it's actually an alternator? has gm stamps all over it, sure may not be original, but I have found alot of stuff that is original. What do the GM pros say?
