RPO codes for brake systems

does anyone have any idea why GM never put the RPO code for the brakes system on the SPID labels ? the parts stores always have different brake parts depending on brakes RPO, but there is never a way to know what RPO brakes are on the vehicle cuz GM never printed them on the SPID labels,

whats the deal with that ?

Usually the "J" series RPO codes cover the brakes. Check here for your codes.

If they're not listed seperately I'd think it's because they're a part of another RPO. You know, a DRW RPO would dictate the truck comes with JB8 brakes so there's no need to list it twice.
