I belive on an 83 they were on glove box door inside.

Usaully in the glove box - on my M1008 it was stuck to the drivers side inner fender. I have noticed a few others on the inner fender as well since then so that may be an option.

Older ones, like my 73, the sticker is on the drivers side fender well in the engine compartment.

i dont have the factory glove box were is another place i can look?

I would suggest the Drivers side inner fender - under the hood. My unit is a 84 and 73k5blazer is a 73, so I would say that a good alternative considering the range of years.

Under the seat!..

I have found a few "build sheets" stuffed in between the springs and foam under the front seat on a few trucks..many GM pickups had it glued to the drivers side inner fender too..

I found the "build sheet" for my 81 G10 Van hanging out of a hole in the chassis while doing an oil change,22 years after whoever put it there!..
I could still read it,but I mangled it trying to retrieve it from the box frame rail..I thought it was money at first!..got me all excited!..:doah:

maybe on top of the gas tank...
