RS9000X shocks like them or hate them

For those of you who use "high end" shocks where exactly do you see the increased performance. Are you out there cutting tight corners on the streets?

Even on a trail when I get some wheel hop, or have to gas it over something my cheapo shocks never fail.

I'm just wondering if there is something I don't know about how a shock "should" work.

The IAS shocks I use are on my DD and I found they gave a much smoother ride on our British pothole strewn streets but they also stay firm on fast cornering and braking. Whether you'd notice any difference when wheeling slow I don't know, but certainly on quicker tracks and fire roads they don't shake my fillings out like my old Ranchos did. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

going from swaybar and ranch5000 to no sway bar and those 5150's i actually fell better taking coeners at speed in my blazer, it feels a little firmer, and more in controll. I like it alot better /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif I cant wait to get them in the back now /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
