Got an 88 K5 w/ AC. It didn't have kick panels when I purchased it and the orange vacuum line for the max AC vent door was just hanging. I'm trying to get it all back together, I purchased a kick panel on eBay and it came with the air vent valve, the baffle, spring, and a u-shaped clip but nothing else. Any idea where I can locate the actuator and the proper bracket? Is that all I need? Having no luck with brothers and LMC.

If you post a picture of what parts you do have, we can go from there.
I am sure that several of us have some help.

This is all I got, along with the working orange vac hose in the cab. Looks like I'm missing an actuator and more importantly a bracket. Having a heck of a time locating the parts, junkyards around here have no square bodies!

I will try to remember and look at what I have here.... gotta finish Moab prep today!

Anybody else have one??

Yes, there is one that operates the fresh air in on the cowl, I believe it's off the same vac hose. The one I need is the kick panel one. It opens the valve when max a/c is selected. I'm not sure if it opens in any other positions. I found some pics. I've even been looking for the non-a/c manual vent handle and have been unsuccessful. There's gotta be someone with a Moab crawler that gutted their a/c that no longer needs this....

Yep, Moab "not quite" crawler did in deed gut this but I gave it to someone else. Dont remember who.

If I make it to the junkyard this weekend ill look for ya. Slim pickings here too.
