How high does a front tire have to be for a standard wheel base blazer to pull off a RTI score of 1000? I don't have a ramp but have access to a forklift. This isn't happening anytime soon, just wondering. Also would lack of drivelines hender the measurement? and would the lack of a motor throw it off too? I know the lack of 500#'s would throw of the figures but by how much? Sorry for all the stupid ?'s. TIA

What do you mean, Where did I get it??...I BUILT the damn thing!!

Okay I checked 4lo.com and they have a RTI calc. but it shows a 20 degree ramp. isn't the 30 degree more prestegious(sp?)?

55Willy,

What's your wheelbase? If you tell me that.....I can give you a bunch of RTI values for a 20 degree....22.5 degree....25 degree and 30 degree ramp!!!

By the way.....the BIGGEST RTI number will be using a 20-degree ramp......that's just how the math works out.....

106.5" or close to it. just a standard 77 blazer with a 4" flip. so if the flip moved it any then it's off that much,

55Willy,

In that case, for a 20 degree ramp.....you magic number is:

37" for a 1016 RTI

Here are some others for the 20 deg ramp and YOUR exact wheelbase:

24" = 659
28" = 769
30" = 824
32" = 879
34" = 933
36" = 988
38" = 1043
40" = 1098
42" = 1153
44" = 1208
46" = 1263
48" = 1318

Thanks. i found it is 36.41 is the magic 1000. So as soon as I get the body on and the motor sitting in place it's off to the fork lift..use it as an excuss to "find my shock length" LOL

It's at my old work so I think they would frown upon me taking it to Portland,LOL. The only reason I'm using it there is cus they all thought I was hualing the Willy's to the scrap yard..just my way of saying " Look at me now!!!"
