It would be kind of handy to have a ramp for validating I'm good under flex and all that. Does anyone out there make a kit I can weld together myself? Or failing that, any recommendations for plans? I could try to wing it, but if there's a known good/safe design, I'd rather go with that.

I'm just researching at the moment. I could easily get scared off by cost, but I've got space, and it'd be good welding practice.

I just googled "rti ramp plans" to find plans. There are 2 different angles to built it to. Go with the steeper angle. They are very basic and easy to build.

They are fun to have around. I helped a guy build one out of scraps. We must have had 10 different sizes of square rectangle and round in that thing.

It was fun and no one ever asked to borrow it cause if the way it looked.

Also cost him about 75 bucks to build.

It was a fun expirement getting everything welded together and straight

I'll see if I can find the specs on mine. I had a buddy design it up in Solid Works when he was an engineering student. It's kinda big tho because we did the original 20 degree angle and we made it long enough to allow a long bed Chevy to max out. It's made entirely with 2" angle. It has been put to the test numerous times and held up fine.

It has been invaluable to have around for suspension testing and checking to make sure new mods all work okay. And it's been fun to take to club functions for people to do RTI scores.
