Working on the driveline of the Wifes car. It is a two piece driveline with a center support bearing. The problem and question is the new rubber boot is very tight. I heated it and finally got it on the front diveline, but now I can't get the rear to fit in it. Any ideas?

83 volvo wagon. No pics, it's a rubber boot or seal that fits behind the center bearing 1/2 on the female end of the front shaft and 1/2 is suppose to fit on the male end of the rear shaft. Problem is I can't get the male end through the boot. it's to tight.
