Is rubber hose suffient for the vent line from the gas tank to charcoal canister?

IIRC you want something that can take gas fumes, i.e. is marked as "smog" or "emissions" hose. I seem to recall that your regular boring vacuum line doesn't like gas, i.e. would get eaten from the inside. (Though I don't know how long it would take.)
