I received this from another list and there is no e-mail addy for this person. I am not sure how true the statement is in this letter about the closure but it seemes all too likely. Buck is right in one sense though, it is time for the OHV community (it doesn't matter what we use to go off highway with) must band together, send letters, send e-mails, contact our voted officials, and be heard as a group with a voice, if we fail to do this it won't be long before we have only pavement to test our upgrades on

hello
my name is buck mclelland, I am a long time local of south lake
tahoe. I am an avid fourwheeler and snowmobiler. I went to a meeting with a
forest service official in regards to snowmobiling and got some very
disturbing news. It seems that in two years a plan goes into effect called The
Sierra Framework in this plan the basic thing is that the forest service is
doing is closing the forest to everything. No more fourwheeling, no more
sledding, no more anything that has a motor on it. I never knew any thing like
this was in the works. The only way we are going to be able to stop this is
to band together with all outdoors enthusiast and fight it so that is why I
am sending this letter out. please respond with any ideas and what we
can do as a whole. Also if you can forwasrd this letter on. Like I said we
must all band together and fight this or else all we enjoy will be gone.
Thank you for your time, please lets get together we have two years and that will be the end
thank you
