All depends whether we run it backwards or forwards 
I'm all for backwards since I've done it forwards. You start at Tahoe and go back. If you still have a truck left over, do Fordyce. Either make the 2 hour drive back on the freeway to Tahoe or do the trail forwards

Yep! Bucket list too..
And going with a bunch of CK5'ers would be the best. But it will need to be more than 2 half days on the trail to justify the long trip out there for me. Adding Fordyce will help.

Honestly I think the right amount would be at least 3 days. It's nice with a big group to take it slow. When we went 2 years ago?!?! It seemed like it was rushed getting out. Late June during the weekdays would be good

Oooohhhhh, my brother and I have talked that we would really like to do the Rubicon and Fordyce trails. From where I'm at in Idaho, it's probably only ~8hr trip down (maybe 9 towing). My brother would be coming from CO (Penrose), so longer for you guys, but I know he wouldn't care. Just give us enough time ahead to plan and we could probably make it work.
Very interested in doing this if we can plan something. How cool would it be if we had a really large CK5 group on those trails? Would be a bunch of fun. Keep me in the loop for sure

I'd definitely consider it. Unfortunately for me, it'd most likely have to be in July or August.
I'd like to run them sometime in the future as well, I'll tag in and see where this goes! It'd be about 1,700 miles for me
