Rubicon July 2023

I don't think we can make 2021 work because we're planning a trip to Europe for our 25th wedding anniversary.

If the planets all align just right, and everything goes smoooooooth for the next 6 months it could happen. Who knows.... maybe by then I’ll have lost my mind completely and I’ll just hitchhike out there and spectate.
 
I'd happily go this year, but my kid will only be about 8 months old in June. That's a little young for a Rubicon trip. I can always try to organize some local guys for a Rubicon trip next year when my daughter is a little bit older and bolder.
 
I'm back to thinking about the Rubicon again. First it was going to be 2019 but then we bought a house and moved. Then 2020 was the pandemic mess and I just gave up after that.

We're talking about mid-June of 2023. Hopefully nothing comes up this time to sabotage it.
 
It's pretty much all or nothing; either we're going or not. I'd rather go in the fall but that's harder with school and the past 2 years they've closed the area due to forest fires in the fall. Hopefully June will be clear of snow, but wet enough that fire isn't a concern.
 
That would be fun, but unless a miracle happens with my finances and the Yukon, I'm not going to make it... :o
