Getting my black Friday list ready. I run an AAM 10.5 rear in my Blazer. It came from a 2002? work truck with a 6.0. Factory discs etc. It has a RuffStuff 14B cover on it, no issues. Does anyone run a pinion guard on one of these? I thought they were virtually the same as the 14B housing but in the questions section on the ruffstuff listing page a guy asks about his dodge AAM 10.5 and the answer is it just fits a 14B. Wondering what the difference might be. Did they just say no it doesn't fit a dodge, but it might fit my axle? Blazer is out at the shop right now so I can't put eyes on it. Thanks for any info.

Does not fit a dodge 10.5. That version does not have a removable pinion support. It should however fit your gm version of the aam 10.5.
