I know someone that HATES HAWGS.. however he saw mine and then later that weekend he got stuck with his swampers... a guy with hawgs pulled him out in 2wd then ripped through what he got stuck in, in 2wd... so he bought 40" hawgs and loves them. He says if you were to ask me id say I was a hawg hater.. now I will own nothing else... now they may not be good for rocks but i dont like rocks.... mud and more mud....

nice pics bro. i had some video of me tearin it up but my buddy's ole lady deleted em. yeah man, hawgs are the greatest. cant wait to get home and beef my k5 up

id consider hawgs for my truck but they are so much $$$. how many miles would you expect to get out of them?

that is the thing... they are no bogger.. however boggers you get 10k-15k expected road use.. where hawgs... they last alot longer.... that is why I got them.... plus I like the square look of them... :wink1:

the other thing I like about them is that not alot of people have them.. so when they tell me they had hawgs and they suck... I let them get stuck.. then I pull them out and I rip the hell out of the hole in 2wd.. if I get stuck.. put it in 4wd and back out and hammer it back through!!!!!! :haha:

the biggest bitchin about hawgs is they run small.. fine you want 38's order the 40's as mine are 38.8 on 16.5x12 rims (supposed to be on 16.5x9.75), 44's are like 42's

so as long as you dont want anything bigger than 42's your good..

I also hear the radials dont last as long... the bias is where the mileage is... however the flatspots can be real kidney busters... but 5 minutes they round out...

Those are some old smitty buillts.

ding ding ding... we have a winner..

and ta boot they were free... from Panther who used to visit these forums.. from what I know he doesnt anymore....

yeah smittybilt tube bumpers.....

I like them because they are not too big like some of the road armor and stuff...

I put a roller fairlead in my back bumper and looking to do the same in the front some day....

well im lookin for 42's. im really looking towards the iroks since i ran those in 39.5 and loved them. so if i ran hawgs id have to order the 44's. what kind of milage are we talking about? 25-30k miles out of them?

id say... if you are afraid of that big... try the 42's so they may be a bit smaller...

there are people running 44" hawgs... do some searching and message them.. I remember a guy with a blazer on 44's.. white maybe?
if not (sorry) try ps.com as some have them there too...

some searching brought up

The Hawgs measure 41.5in. with a little over half tread

ive heard alot of good stuff about hawgs.
my boss however hates them with a passion. i think the main thing with them like boggers is you need the horsepower to spin them. no wheel speed and they dig to china.
he had a cucv with 40" hawgs and it would always get stuck, no wheel speed.
just some food for thought

damn i guess i missed a lot while i was sleeping. you should get at least 25k out of them if you get the bias ply. i know they are not as road worthy as radials but really if your buying that kind of tire i am sure its not for its road manners. i have 40's and love them. the only reason i would get 54 boggers is because damn, thats just a big freakin tire.

they will go nicely with the current 10b's;) :p: :haha:

keep save in the desert
that would be a funny sight, but i actually did see a set of 52" michelins on a 2002 chevy with 1/2 ton running gear

that goes with any big tires. if you dont have the power to turn them then you are just out of luck. BIG BLOCKS MAKE ME DROOL!!! i can spin mine in anything all day long. throwin mud and water 75 ft in the air. Those make awesome pics ( if people you know dont delete them). i think we need to start a Hawg revolution. haha
