1990 k5, don't know if any work has been done to the motor. At minimum I would say it has been fresh re-seal and rebuilt to stock specs. The thing is just to tight and dry to be the original motor with 170k. Appears to be all stock. Has ss headers, 2 1/2 exhaust all the way back, no cats. Truck runs good just smells rich all the time, gas mileage pretty poor for what I thought the fuel injected motor would get, no codes. It just smells like an old carbureted truck...

Or do you even have an O2 sensor? Not sure anyone is making headers with the O2 bung in them, fairly common for the unknowing to think they can just run without it.

Truk runs well, there is a O2 sensor installed just past the header colector near the frame rail.

The only engine code that I currently have is the code 32 egr. Which is due to the free flowing exhaust also. I would love to shut this parameter off to get rid of the neucence light that comes on at times....
