I am relocating my batteries in bed and I am wondering whats the best way to keep them protected? I will have probably 2 4 guage wires and a stainless steel braided fuel line. Plus another small wire going to the fuel pump. I was gonna run a piece of 2.5" conduit bolted to the bottom of the cab but that didnt work out. I will be running everything in wire loom. So far what I have done is I just took some zip ties that have the small hole to put a screw through and just mounted them to the bottom of the cab. It will all be about 4" or so above the exhaust so I am hoping it will be ok. Also on the wires going to the starter there is a small metal tube there and the little wire is ran through it but the wire loom keeps melting. Also the metal tube is not mounted to anything. Anyone have a pic of how it is supposed to be mounted because I cant figure it how.

I'm finding myself writing this in threads and saying it in my head more and more when I read posts of this nature: Contact RYOKEN. He knows all things electric and has about the best adivse at ck5 on issues of this nature.
