I am hoping and hoping that the new floor in my K5 will be in shortly.

I plan on using Rust Bullet everywhere while she's open and the tank is out. When that's done, should I use Blackshell (RustBullet's product as a top coat) or a bedliner product instead?

Essentially, I'd like to know: would going 2 for 2 with Rust Bullet products be as good as they think it is? Anyone here use the Blackshell?

Thanks, guys; I'm hoping she'll be ready to start this process in the next week or so, and yes, pix a plenty, too.

is the areas in question rusted or paint sanded down to bare metal? depending on which you would clean and etch with some type of metal ready then maybe rust incapsilate (eastwood product) then somesort of paint like rust bullet or one of those epoxy paints from another company also eastwood, por- 15. then a top coat like chassie paint or maybe a rust proofing product. there is a selection. iam doing something similar.

What I'm at the very least starting on is a new rear floor; two pieces of diamond plate that will meet together to take the place of the old floor. The gas tank is off, and I should have good access to just about everything during the "switch". I plan on two-coating all new and old metal (there is little rust, really, now that the floor is gone...it's like rust was a live creature that went right to the weak spots and left the frame alone) with the RB and Blackshelling the interior.

I'll be doing pics once someone explains how the hell to do that for me!
