rust bullet gloss black?

i just pulled the front axle off of my sub and was wondering what i should put on it after i get done sandblasting it today. is there any rust protection product that stands out from the usual undercoating. also im bout to install the bodylift in like a week and i was going to sandblast the frame and use the same stuff. but for the underbody. has anyone ever used herculiner or what. just thinkin bout it.:rolleyes: anything you can think of would be great.

ok. so you can use it as a top coat? thats pretty sweet. and the black? do you use the product yourself?
 
I haven't yet, but I'm going to be using it here pretty soon. I have already bought it.
 
did you get the gloss black one 2? because i was going to paint my burb gloss black or silver.
 
alright. when you do it can you tell me how it turns out. cause if its actually kind of glossy then ill just do my whole burb in it 2.
 
Not going to do it until this winter tho. Pm canmorek5 and ask him as he has already done it and can answer your questions like that better and faster.
 
just in and around victoria. havent been able to go any further. just got my permit so yeah. im just trying to build up and restore my truck for now. i mostly do mud with a couple of buddies.
 
um yeah. couldve had an element. but thats not my style. i wanted sumthing that could fit my friends. a cooler and all the crap you need for a party. its a party on wheels! and i wanted sumthin that i payed for and could learn from. i was into fast cars. but once i started wheelin i put that in the back of my mind. anybody can make a car fast. its getting it to be able to conquer rocks, water, thick mud, dunes, and all the rest of mother natures goodness.
 
i was just going to spray rust bullet on the axles, frame, and i was thinking the body 2. since they say that you can paint over it.
