anyone know if its ok to put rust bullet over your undercoating. If not is there any trick to taking it off that I havent tryed yet. Stuf is on kinda thin so heat wont do much and have tryed xylene works fairly good but I dont want to evaporate my brain with the stuff.

What about using a paint stripper that just attaches to a drill? They are fairly easy and will strip that stuff off quickly. Make sure you wear a dust mask as it will kick up a fair amount of dust. They are fairly inexpensive, so you don't have to worry about ruining a couple.

I have tryed that to and it works a little better but is dificult to get into tight places. After alot of expirimentation with various things I have found that A bucket of hot watter and A box of SOS pads works very well. The hot watter seems to make the undercoating kind of brittle and the steel woll eats it up pretty fast. Also the wet steel woll makes the factory paint on the underside look like brand new
