How long have you met Rust Bullet vehicle? under Rust Bullet rust does not appear again after all miracles..?

Bump. Can anyone tell me (1) when that review was done and (2) how the truck has held up and (3) where it's being driven? I'm in VA where they salt the roads and want to know if this can help protect my K5.

Try sending a PM to Paul. He's now known as Can Can

That review was done by Can Can, gonna say fall '05 or '06. No idea how it held up long term as he sold the truck a little while later. I know for sure when I was there in march 07 the K5 had already been sold.

As I see it, it is a rust encapsulator like POR15. It probably works quite well, but I'd think one stone chip and moisture will get under it and the rust will progress again. I think it's a good product that would help buy you some time, but IMO it's not a cure.

Rust bullet

I was thinking of using it myself.I dont have alot of rust and i would be covering over good painted surfaces to protect it better then spray undercoat over that once dry. The only thing is its getting cold and you cant apply it in colder temps being i dont have a garage. Or can i? does cold temps make big difference? The truck is in the heat of the sun half of the day.
