I've got a 1982 k5 blazer and there's a very bad rust spot on the cab roof corner at the top of the pillar. The rust has spread and is spreading across the top of the windshield towards the driver side. I've been told that my best bet would be cutting the roof off and replacing it with a new one, all 4 pillars and all. Any advice on how to go about this ? I suspect that I have the tools I would need but I'm not sure on the best route to getting this done. Anyone ever done this before ?

My solution to the same problem was a full vert swap.
