Alright - Here's a tale of truck love.

I bought my 85 C20 about a year ago for $500. I overpaid.
It's a 305 with a sm465 and a 14bff. I guess it's not that bad.

Well, this thing is a rotbox. EVERYONE tells me to just ditch this truck and get another one, but I have a pretty strong attachment to it for no reason at all.

Where can I get replacement panels? I can cut, weld and do bodywork.

I need this CHEAP. It needs everywhere these trucks rust out..

Either some dirt cheap good panels or convince me to ditch it.

EDIT - These pictures were taken in a way to NOT show the rust, I am trying to sell it. I figured if someone threw me a grand, I'd part.

Jc Whitney should have the cheapest prices... whether the sheetmetal is cheesier, I can't say...

floors, rockers, cab supports shouldn't be bad pricewise.. wheelwell are cheap too.. tailpan usually runs around 100... fenders the same.. qrters, couple a hundred a piece minumum...

Or.... You could take a plane ride and get a clean tub down south... :wink1:

I'll sell it before that :doah:
It needs suspension work too, this truck just might not be worth it.
