My 1980 k5blazer has some rust along the bottom the floor next to the door, i found new pieces at jc whitney for them. any tips on how to put them in or suggestions to fix? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

had a welder or access to one? Pulled back the carpet and made sure tahts all there is?

ya i lifted the carpet and there is just the spot along the bottom of the floor next to the door, everything else is solid. yes i do have access to a few welders, what would i use just a wire feed? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

yeah you would use a mig, wire feed, welder. If its just a little spot I would say cut it out and place a piece of good guage sheetmetal in its place and weld it in. No point in buying a whole new floor pan for one spot.
