Since i bought my 90 sub the RWAL plugs were disconnected....decided to plug it back in but the "Brake" light stays on.... I have scan tool but it doesn't show any codes. Truck runs and brakes fine w/o it but would like to have it sorted out before we get more snow here.....

The RWAL system sucks in the snow (well is sucks everywhere). Any bit of wheel lock-up causes the system pump to start and braking pulses. It is always a bit unnerving for me.

The abs in these trucks suck! You can fix it, but be prepared that you might end up unplugging it after your first emergency braking situation in the ice and snow! Just like he said, the rear brakes will start surging and the front brakes lockup at the worst possible time. You let off the brake pedal to regain steering control only to have it happen all over again. I unplugged mine, and no more problems. Sure, I can now lockup all 4 wheels if I'm not careful or it's icy, but I was having more issues when they were hooked up....
