ok this dont have anything to do with GM. But it is tech so here goes.
I have a 1993 freightliner cab over semi truck. The problem Im having is the cab jack 1 it leaks and 2 it takes 987578643897654326897546 handle pumps to get the cab up. Where you work on boats maybe you could direct me to a 12V elec. powered hydro pump. I belive they used them on trim tabs and to lift outboard drives. I figure youd be the best resorce for this. Any ideas?

Well, yeah, there are MANY kinds of hydro pumps on boats...

Bennett trim pumps are a very common pump...

a less common pump is a boat leveler

I'd really have to see a pic of the ram setup... There are other options too.. Bilge hatch rams might be the way to go...

Quite a few other system hydro pumps that are available on boat apps, but a trim pump is one of the cheaper versions...

Ill try to get pics, I have been trying to keep my camera more handy, the result has been leaving it someplace I cant remember. The rams on it(2) are about 1" around and 3-3.5 ft long I thought about fluid capasity but the hand jack on there only holds a little more than a quart. Like 1.25 qt I think. The hand jack is what I think is worn out it dont work the full stroke only like 1/4" of the stroke does anything. So it takes like 10 minutes to get it jacked up and even then I have to cram a board in there cuz it leaks down. Besides the problems it has, Im lazy, so an electric pump makes me grunt like Tim allen.
