Ok, I have a naked frame/ driveline from the donor S-10. I want to sell off some goodies from it, but need to know what it is before I can advertise.
Its a 92 S-10 ext cab 4x4. It had a 4.3l V6, appears to be a 700R4 tranny and a t-case and diffs. What t-case would it be? What diffs? Any idea on gearing that they might be?
Thanks for the help!
Mike

it will bea ten bolt rear one of two different sizes and the transfer case is most likley a NP 233 but all you have to do to check is look at the little metal tag on the back side of the case

Hehe, thats what I love about this forum! Two replies and two different answers. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

with the transfer case it could be either one my 93 has a 233 but older ones have 231 i do not rember the years of change over. As for the rear GM used two different sizes 10 bolts the larger was used most of the time when there was a gov lock in the axle. Is the 4.3 CPI or TBI

Central Port Injection

Uses a throttle body with a rotating injector and 6 tubes down the intake port in the heads.

Do you have the top part of the radiator shroud?

I thought the S-10s all had the NP207 /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The early ones did. Switched to the 231 and the 233 (elec shift)
