I am interested in learning more, the product decription is a little vague, anyone have any more pics, different agles, pics with the step on, pics with the step off, pics with door open, ... They look pretty cool, but I want to see more of them. I wont have the money for a while, but at some point i want to buy steps, i love the look of tube steps but the screw up your ground clearce and all... These might be the answer. Thanks for any replys.

You might want to wait a little while, because MOOSE is having some rock sliders made right now that he will be manufacturing. I have seen a set of them and they look great plus they are super strong. They give you some extra protection near the rocker panel under the door. I'm sure he will post a picture as soon as they are finished.

Are his rock sliders going to have steps. That is what i like so much about the s.E.C. ones, the have removable steps that look realcool, but i am not planning on buying anything for soem time anyway, so I will keep my eyes open. tHansk

For *86BlaxerK5* :

The standard rock sliders with the fixed steps are 3" wide and 2" high.
The brackets for the steps are welded to the main tube.
The steps itself are Jeep TJ steps, because these parts fit perfect for the job and are the perfect width, they come even with the vertical outside body line .
(please, no flame wars because of the Jeep parts)
The other version with the removable steps is 3" x 3".
This extra 1" is needed for the welded in tubes were the step mounts slide in.
The wall thickness is 3'16" for both 2"x3" and 3"x3".

As for the ground clearance, this is limited by the transfercase being the lowest point.

ColoradoK5's Steve Fox has a set that he will install on his UAV and write a review.

Hope this helps.

I cant wait for that review, are the ones pictured in the add removable or not, I like the idea of being removable, but really like the looks of the jeep step. I would like to seee a pic of both for comparison. though if you have any.

On the white Jimmy, they are not removable.

As soon as Steve has his review ready, you will be able to see both versions.

Yes.
You order it, we build it :)

Can be made for first gen K5's, no problem.

Hope this helps,
