My buddy ask me to find him a factory eaton limted slip, locker, posi, spool whatever for his '91 S Blazer. It has gm 7.625 rear with 28 spline shafts. I keep telling him to do a solid axle conversion in the front but he is concern about the axle sticking off to far. What axle is he better off going with. He keeps thinking dana 30 from a :weld: Jeep. Any ideas.

Why bother doing the gear setup on a small axle like that . Get a lockright for his open carrier , and when he kills the axle and gets a 8.5 or better , he can resell the lockright .

He babies the mini Blazer and don't like to do things like me. I just found a dana 60 and 14bff and told him he could have my crappy axles (10b,12b) but he said they are too wide.
