I just got a quote on a cage from S & W Racecars. I know some guys on here are running them, anyway they said they use EWS mild steel which I'm not familiar with is that okay for an offroad application or should I pay the extra and go with DOM. Also the guys running them are you happy with the quality?

EWS means Electrically Welded Seam. Contact trusty. He know his stuff when it comes to tube. After doing all the reasearch I personally don't think it's worth the $$ for DOM unless you are into full on competitions. The main difference between the two is that DOM is held to a tighter manufacturing tolerance. There really isn't much of a strength benefit going w/ DOM.
