Who has installed a S&W Cage kit? I know Bablazer did and others, could you post a pic of the cage installed? Also, do any of you know a dealer for Corbeau seats? Anyone run these seats in their rig? Thanks in advance.

Seat Source in Riverside CA sells Corbeau and many others, including Flofit, which I have. No tax and the service was incredible. Number is 909-343-9430.

Flofit did have some bad press a while back...but I have personally seen Franks seats and they are top quality and are very comfortable.

When I did my search for replacement seats for the stock ones I did an online search. The Flofit seats, or should I say the company distributing them, had a bad reputation about 4 years ago due to the owner of the company just not taking care of business. However, I found a couple of guys online that actually had the seats and got their opinions - which were all good. Seat Source is the distributor I called and made the following deal with - told them about the reputation of Flofit in the real world, and said I wanted the seats within two weeks or forget the deal. Second stipulation was they couldn't charge my credit card till the seats shipped. Both conditions were agreed to and not only did they live up to it, they called me the day the seats left, gave me the tracking numbers, and then called the day they were supposed to arrive. Service was incredible.

I looked at all the features they had, compared to Corbeau, Salesco, Recaro and others and for the price ($800 delivered to my door with exact fit bolt in bases) and features I preferred Flofit over the others. Recaro are nice but for $1500 I could almost get two sets of Flofits. The Flofits of course recline completely in very small increments, have incredible side support bolsters, have thigh extensions that also incrementally adjust, lumbar pumps, and headrests that adjust up and down and in and out. Comfort level is top notch, no sore butt or legs on a long drive. 3 years later the material (which is scotch garded) looks new. Call Seat Source for a catalog..........or do an internet search for Flofit. I'm sure you will be able to get the links like I did. Pics on my site of the seats.

Neil, I just installed my Corbeau SS seats AND my S&W Rollcage. I don't have pics yet but I'll post them as soon as I can. I ordered the 10 point kit but modified it. I got the seats from:

I shopped around and these guys were the cheapest I found. Just ask for Jim Huston.

Again guys,

Thanks for the replies. I will check the sites everyone listed. I am very interested in seeing your seats and roll cage BigTex. Can you email these pics to me, or post them on your site and send me a link? I have talked to Steve Frisbie at Missouri Offroad Outfitters and I have big plans for my rig. First of all, I talked to him in length about how I want to mount my Rocker Sliders. I am cutting the rocker panels completely out of my truck, then welding in 2"x4" rectangle tubing in place of the rockers. We will then devise a new body mount which will replace my rusty mounts, and incorporate the cage mounting points into these body mounts. I plan to modify my cage kit as well. I will rebend the door bars to incorporate a crossbar for the seat mounts. I will install the front bars through the dash, and my crossbar (dash bar) will be bent to conform to the top of the dash. On the passenger side, I will have a grab bar for the passenger. I will use the rear diagonals but mount them lower and out of the way. I still plan to retain the rear seat. I will also probably tie my existing factory roll bar into this cage to protect my passengers. Keep me posted and I will keep you informed as well. Thanks again. [email protected]
