Finally got a start on my new toy. Its a 91 S10 on a fullsize Blazer frame. Was a pain in the ass to get the cab on there by myself. Plans are 52's up front and 56's out back. Then what ever tire will fit with some cutting.

Making some progress. Moved the cab forward so the core support lined up with the frame mounts. They are only like a 1/2'' difference in width. Don't mind the wood blocks under the core support. They was just to see how much of a spacer I needed.

I notched the floor to get the cab to sit down closer to the frame. Still need to cut the mounts off the frame and move them.

And a side view of how it looks.

I have a 2wd S-10 ex-cab shortbed down in New mexico with a 2.8 and a 5speed and a 79 f150 with 4.56's welded rear lock right front.

My idea was to graft the coil buckets to the s-10 frame and then ditch the 2.8 in favor of 3.8 from a T-type buick with a NV3550/241 and 37 to 40" radials on beadlocks

If I wouldn't have sold the frame I was going to do a radius arm front and 4 link rear. Since the frame was a 2 wheel drive the front coil buckets were already there.

Well I made some progress today. Spent most of the day cutting off all the un-needed brackets. Got the front spring hangers moved forward. Still need to figure out where to put the front shackle.

Still need to find a motor, tranny, and t-case. Also have to find a matching set of axles or a 3.42 rear end. Prob end up sticking a sapre front end under the rear to be able to move it.

Got the front end back under it. Still have to move the upper shackle hanger forward. Just left it in the stock poistion for now. Still need to make the rear cab mounts. Will have pics later if I can find some batteries for the camera.

definitely following this build.. also thinking of doing this my self. looks great so far.

That setup is incredibly popular up here (or at least was when I was actively trail riding about 5 years ago). Throw tons on a K5 frame and bolt either an S10 pickup or blazer on top of it and wheel the poo out of it. Guess it beats wrinkling up a K5 body in the woods :D
