Well, it is done. I sold my 1974 K5 Blazer yesterday to a guy in Huntsville, AL. I loved that truck but just did not have time to work on it or drive it so I decided to sell it to someone who would use it. It was a great truck, I had it for about eight years or so. Fun times. Oh well, I might get something else to build this spring.

This sight has a ton of good information that helped me in the building process. I found this sight the day I bought my blazer and have enjoyed it since then. Keep up the good work.

Later.

You people... selling your trucks... that Blazer trusted you and you turned your back on it...:(:D

Yeah it sucked pretty bad. I called the guy last night to see if he made it back and he said he drove it 65-75mph all the way home on the interstate and when he got home he went in the woods. I am happy it has a good owner now that will take it to its home in the woods. It was like I was selling a piece of myself yesterday. I did every bit of work to that truck, rebuilt the motor, welded in new floorboards, the lift. It has never been in the shop since I bought it. Was a rough day.

8 years and only 3 posts, 2 of them talking about selling your blazer? Is that a Bronco in your drive way?;)

I wanna know what the other post was
My name is Rush and I live in Hoover, AL. I have been married for 2 1/2 years and we are expecting our first child in April 2007. I am a CPA working for my father at his local accounting firm. I graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2002. While in college I purchased a 1974 K5 Blazer. It had significant rust and the motor was shot. I found this website right when it started up and it is full of great info. It has helped me out a ton in the past. I know plan on finishing up the Blazer and get it where I want it. Not too much to do but will take a little time and $. Y'all know all about that I'm sure. Anyway, keep the great info coming.
