The doc said he would have put a few stitches in if I had come in at a reasonable time, but since over 24 hourshad passed, he said sticthes were out as an option. Guess I'll have a cool scar... Goose egg finally went down last night. I'm still feeling a little fuzzy, having a hard time keeping focused, but the doc said that might last about a week...:doah:
I just don't understand why you think that has anything to do with the head injury. That was a pre-existing condition! :haha:

I pulled that same manuverwith a pair of side cutter dykes! two years later, I got this really cool scar next to my nose. Glad your OK.

Never lay under your truck at the trailhead with all of your crew watching, pullijg down with all your might on a ratchet, straight towards your face. Not only does the concussion suck, but the unbridled laughter of your friends might sting a little too. I still ran the trail, but only to silence the laughter.:D
I feel your pain. I did the same thing just this weekend, but nobody was watching. Caught myself in the jaw though, with the butt end of my 1/2" ratchet and all my might behind it. Knocked myself flat on the ground and heard a bunch of popping noises in my jaw. Hurt to talk and eat for two days, still have a sore spot. :doah:

That's not right....but it is funny.:D FYI, the red dot on someones forehead in India is referred to as a Tikka.

And then there's that fine SAKO owned rifle making company called Tikka....wonder if there's any significance to their name.
