can anybody advise the best way to eliminate the "sag" in the rear of my '90 blazer ? getting ready to get new tires and want to eliminate it at the same time.

It currently has blocks allowing for 33" x 12.5" on factory rims.

thanks in advance!!

I would say zero rate but u have a block already and that sounds sketchy. So i vote one of the thick helper springs for the bottom or new leaf springs. Or if you looking to go real quick easy fix a buddy of mine got a set of those bolt on helper springs that you bolt to the top of the leaf pack. It surprisingly got rid of his sag.

I acquired another set of springs, took two of the longer ones from that set, disassembled the ones in my Burb, installed those two extra springs and it leveled right out. It also firmed up the ride as well, but not to the point of being harsh, just got rid of the really soft bounce it had going over bumps.

I had the same problem. I did pretty much the same thing, the ride is a bit stiffer. But it solved my problem, it took about 6 hours to do.

Get rid of the blocks.

Rear shackle flip for the win. Slightly longer shackles if needed. :waytogo:

Dueling, I was wrong about the blocks. The previous owner said they were there but there are none. What is "zero rate" ? That you suggested before?

A 1" block that attaches to the leaf spring pack that does not add a stiffer ride like add-a-leafs, hence then name, Zero-Rate. You can also use them to move the axle 1" foward, or 1" back from factory. Another name is ez-inch. There are several companies that sell/make them.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I am going to try the "zero rate" option next week and see how it goes. Thanks again!
