Sagging rear...

Suburban FINALLY inspected and legal. THANKS TO ALL who helped me with this one.....

Now to work some of the other things, one being the rear sag. I don't have any desire for a big lift, and am considering an ADD A LEAF kit for the rear. How difficult are these to install?

I used a zero rate from ORD for that extra inch. Very simple.

I did an add-a-leaf in my yard, no real hassle.

Can't tell that it rides any harsher than before, but it's definitely not sagging in the rear!

they are very easy to install.

You can take the springs out, or leave them in, but its harded with them in.

Remove the center pin, pull the spring pack apart, place add a leaf in order or length, use a punch or a long screw driver to align the center pin holes, use large c-clamps to compress spring pack then install center pin, and reinstall spring pack under truck.

I did the front of mine with the springs under the truck in 1 1/2 hrs.

How much are you sagging? We offer up to a 2" add-a-leaf for the rear. They are super easy to install. Since they are the same dimensions as the spring perch, you drop the axle, use C-clamps on both sides of the center pin and clamp the spring BEFORE you pull the center pin out. Bolt in the new add-a-leaf w/ the supplied hardware and put it all back together. I did mine in less than 45 minutes in my garage. Cured my saggy butt!

Mine was sagging quite a bit as well, i simply took some leaves from another set i aquired, and put 2 extra in each side,,,raised it up to the norm, and rides better now too, not so squishy and soft.
