I got a 97, 2500 extra cab. I replaced both top and bottom hinge pins on the drivers side "pass side still ok". The prob is the top top bushing hole is auged out and the door still sags about 1/2".

Needless to say this makes closing the door a pain!

anyone have this prob before?

*notes the hinge pin kits I got were the same and the bottom fit fine.

You said you replaced the pins, did you replace the bushings? That is really the wear item.

I really doubt the holes are so egged out THROUGH the bushing that new bushings won't solve the problem.

I would hate to have to replace the hinges. I feel like there is a product to solve the egged out bushing hole problem made for the camaros or something.
