I have an 84 blazer, with 6in suspension 3in body and cut out flares, its more of a daily driver than an offroader, what is the biggest (i want wide too at least a 14.5 or wider) tire i can fit without tire rub?
thanks

If you don't wheel it too much you could probably get away with a 38x14.5 in those wheel wells. Of course there is a lot more to it than that, you'll have to regear, at least 4.88's with a non OD tranny and maybe even 5.13's with OD. Even with the right gearing you should make sure your tranny has an adequate cooler. Then there is axle strength to consider, the 1/2 ton stuff does not fare well with larger than 35" tires. How about braking? Those big ass tires have a lot of inertia, and the 1/2 ton brakes aren't exactly huge.

hey man i am switching over to a 14 ff in the rear, i will probably regear later on too. thanks for the input

Here is my take on the question, if your tires don't rub they are to small. Get bigger ones and trim untill they just barely touch.
