Hey just a little confused let me start here

I have been researching re-lifting my K5 and found that aftermarket springs are 2 1/2" wide and stock are 3'' wide Is this true for the rear springs? because i thought I had a 4" lift but my rear has 2 1/2" wide springs and 3" blocks (roughcountry) my rear springs have a real good arch to them not somthing you would thik to see in a 30 year old rig. sholud I think that its a 6" lift ??

Second is the 52'' front spring swap that easy ? 6 rivits in each front hanger drill and re-bolt done !! and I have looked but is the total lift 4" or does the spring give 4" and then the longer rear shackle give another 1 1/2"or 2" (71/4"shackle)

these are probably stupid questions but sorry

gm rears always are 2.5" wide at least 63-87 anyways

rears 88-up appear to be 3", at least the set from a 97 at the yard i saw the other day anyways

dunno other years

88-up spring info

the rear 88-up springs are still 2.5" wide. and are 64" eye to eye. i have done a swap from 56" to 64" springs for a softer ride and more flex from the length.:cool1:
