I'm looking at buying a 12 bolt diff with an open carrier. Does anyone have a QuickLock rear end? Are they like the Loc Rites? If so, do you like them? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I have an Auburn now but it's all worn out and I'm not sure if I want to go that route again. What about Eaton? Is that a locker or a limited slip diff?

The eaton is a LS. Itt supose to have adjustable preload and carbon fiber clutch packs available. That's about what I know of them. DO NOT MESS WITH THE DETROIT EZ. They explode and the break other stuff in the process. Stephen watson I recall had good luck with the lockright. Not familure with the Quick lock. The Detroit is expensive but I'm real impressed with it.

The only problems I've heard of with the Loc Rite is the ratcheting noise and they wear prematurely. I understand both have been fixed. From what I could see in the ad picture the quick lock is real similar. It just replaces the spider gears.
