my friend is building up a truck with a T350 in it and i have a torque convertor from a 700r that i could give him but ive been searching and cant find anything on if they are the same convertors or not? any help would be great. thanks

No I dont think so. The 700 converter is a lock up one and the 350 doesnt have lockup.
they are not the same. not all 700's are the same either. its year dependent. I found out the hard way.

spline count is different, and there were some TH350Cs that were lockup. 81+ IIRC

they are close, but too different to work. the later 700r4 and the th350 both have a 30 spline input, but the stator splines im not sure if they are the same. the hub diameter is different size. i can't remember which is bigger the th350 or 700r4, but you could damage the pump bushing just putting the converter in it.
