I'd like to get a roll call of CK5 folks in San Diego County who would be interested in a monthly run in our local mountains and deserts. I'll count you too KANDYHAMANIC and ARQ, your close enough. I know a bunch of you run solo with other groups as well so post in and perhaps we can coordinate on some of the runs to get more local Full Size trucks involved. The San Diego Four Wheelers have a 104" wheel base limit and the K5 hits 106.5". They do make exceptions but still run mostly jeeps on soley jeep trails which equals full size carnage (like 1 way's squeeze). Chime in, lets get organized with some Full Size runs!

I can see it now.

Well, I close escrow on my new place out in San Marcos at the end of this month. That means the Blazer will be on blocks and in pieces. However my buddies have some 4x's ready to go (<font color=orange>Poff</font color=orange> and <font color=orange>Harry</font color=orange>). They're looking to go out to Los Coyotes again soon.

Perfect, I missed the last Los Coyotes run due to the axle swap. That would make a good first group run too. Let me know if you need a helping wrench with any of your truck, I'm in San Marcos too over by the Lake.

Ok, that was too funny. Just ask your neighbors where all the air ratcheting comes from, thats me!

I'll build the tow bar, trail broken truck buys the beer! Deal?

Yea I wana go some place close. I need some frt axle u-joints, ball joints, and a spare tire and I'm ready to go. I've been needing these things for months now but with T-ball and rookie baseball my plates been full lately.

Jimm88K5, no worries on the work needed. I figure we'll make a first run in about a month so people have time to prepare. I'm swapping all the bearings and seals out of my front end right now, and welding on new tube armor. Almost done though.

Joe, email or PM me with your email so I can add you in the email list, otherwise look for San Deigo run posts here on the board.

hey mike, count me in for some runs. los coyotes was a blast! i made el hill! whowwee that was a hard one. it was real good run with plenty of trail side fixes to keep it very interesting. mexcio has some good runs as well, get Arq to show around, eh? Hoserr

mike, it was too cool! small blocks everywhere thumpin' out sweet chevy music. ProTrucks and buggies galore. rooster tails an high octane race gas was the entertainment of the day. i almost got to take mine on the course to rescue our racer too! but, he was able to limp into the pits with a broken rocker arm an no first gear. i had a blast watching them boys do 80 mph power slides coming by the pits, it was just too cool mike.
