sanpping spark plugs

hey guys, I keep on breaking spark plugs in the #5 cylinder.

I am trying to install some headers (hedman 69890's), and the exhaust tube for the #5 cylinder is in the way.

I can get a socket on the sprak plug, but I cannot get an extension to the socket.

Every time I think I have the spark plug in and tight, the insulator snaps, and then I am back at square one again....

use a wrench on the spark plug socket.....I also find it easiest to remove the rubber insulator from the socket so you can angle it off the spark plug Thats what I have to do on my #5

I figured it out, nevermind...

I just used a hex end spark plug socket...

This was a useless thread.

Well I had a 350 with headers, now my 496 with headers, put headers on 3 of my friends trucks, a guy with a 502 in a 55, and another 68 chevelle with a 396...Ive had my fair share of header fun

Oh....and I want a ham sandwich for my troubles

i use a modified offset box end wrench on the tough ones that i cant get the socket one easily

I'm sure if I shipped one it would be bad by the time you got one.
